VisualCamp releases a free web analytics app. Tracking launch VisualCamp has launched SeeSo Web Analysis, an app where users can enter a URL and track their eyes as they browse the site. The app provides analysis of gaze data in real time, provides analysis of where you focus through heat maps, the path you take and how long you look for. SeeSo web analytics is available for free in the iOS App Store.
Etsy introduces risk-free advertising service. Etsy has announced two advertising updates. Offsite ads promote Etsy articles on Google, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Bing. You pay an advertising fee only when a customer clicks on one of these ads for your products and buys from your Etsy store within 30 days. Etsy has also updated its existing advertising tool, Etsy Ads, so that your budget will only apply to shoppers on Etsy.
PayPal improves business accounts with integrated tools. PayPal informed corporate customers about upcoming improvements to their accounts. Businesses will have access to PayPal business services packages directly from the PayPal homepage, with tools for accepting payments, managing risk, streamlining operations and accessing finance. Customers can customize the PayPal homepage with shortcuts to the apps and actions they use most.
Amazon lowers multichannel compliance fees. Amazon announced that they are lowering multi-channel fulfillment fees, which occur when Amazon fulfills orders outside of Amazon's marketplace, for example from a seller's website. Amazon lowers prices for fast 2-day and standard shipping, and introduces new levels for standard and fast shipping.
Celo, a blockchain technology provider, announces a crypto alliance for 50 members. The Celo Foundation has announced 50 founding members of the Celo Alliance for prosperity. The Alliance's goal is to unite organizations with the shared vision of making cryptocurrency more accessible and useful in the real world. Alliance members engage in a variety of use cases, including mobile and online work, enabling faster and more affordable transfers, reducing operational complexity in delivering humanitarian assistance, facilitating payments and enabling micro-transfer.
Amazon accelerates same day delivery in selected cities. Amazon announced that Prime members in Philadelphia, Phoenix, Orlando and Dallas can now get faster deliveries on the same day. Up to 3 million articles across dozens of categories marked "Today by" can now be ordered for delivery throughout the day. Members can also order as late as midnight and have their orders on the threshold the next morning by choosing the delivery option "Overnight at 8:00". If customers choose to have their order delivered overnight, the drivers will arrive between 16:30 and 08:00, which is stated on the product information page and again at the checkout.
BVA launches accelerated Magento to Shopify Plus platform services. Magento has announced that all versions of Magento 1 will expire in June 2020. The number of affected online stores is expected to be between 200,000 and 240,000. In response, BVA, a Shopify Plus agency, is launching a new "accelerator" to migrate Magento 1 retailer for Shopify Plus.
Sales CRM Pipedrive acquires Mailigen, supplier of automation of email marketing. Customer relationship management company Pipedrive has acquired Mailigen, an email and marketing automation service for social media. Mailigen will help Pipedrive customers generate leads and nurture prospects.
MHS launches software for e-commerce driven warehouses. MHS, which provides services for distribution centers, has announced the launch of software to address the challenges that distribution and fulfillment centers face as a result of growth in e-commerce. MHS Helix consists of template-based, integrated modules for equipment control, inventory management and order fulfillment functions.
DHL Supply Chain and Locus Robotics launched 10 new US distributions in 2020. DHL Supply Chain, part of Deutsche Post DHL Group, and Locus Robotics, a supplier of autonomous mobile robots for compliant warehouses, has announced an expanded partnership that includes 10 new, nationwide distributions of Locus AMR (autonomous mobile robot) service in 2020. DHL Supply Chain North America and Locus Robotics partnered in 2017 to pilot a collaborative autonomous robot service, LocusBots, to navigate autonomously in stock to quickly find and transport picking items to associates.
